WINTER WEATHER ADVICE – PREPARING FOR A POTENTIAL SNOWSTORM
Management will closely monitor the weather and stay in regular contact with the snow removal vendor to ensure timely updates and preparedness.
To facilitate efficient snow clearing, the Association’s snow removal vendor kindly requests your cooperation with the following:
• Please keep alleyways as clear as possible during the snowstorm.
• Keep your trash and recycling containers indoors during snow removal.
• Whenever possible, use your garages for parking to help snow removal vehicles navigate through tight spaces.
The Association’s snow removal contractor begins plowing operations after 2″ of snowfall has accumulated and will return intermittently until the snow stops falling and surfaces are reasonably passable. They will watch for trouble areas, especially in shaded areas throughout the community.
The Association is responsible for snow removal operations from:
Davis Point Lane
North Channel Drive
Sable Court
Settling Pond Lane
South Channel Drive
Smith’s Cove Lane
Miner Street
All Alleyways
The Public Roads in the Association, as designated by the City of Greenbelt, are Greenbelt Station Parkway
North Center Drive
South Center Drive
Stream Bank Lane
For road condition issues, contact the Public Works Department at 301-474-8004.
As a reminder, the Association is responsible for shoveling sidewalks, and the lead walks for the Condominiums. Townhome owners are responsible for removing snow from the walkway to their front doors, and all residents are responsible for removing snow from their driveways.
Report power outages or downed power lines immediately to your utility company: Pepco (1877) 737-2662, BGE (1877) 778-2222.
I will provide updates as necessary. If you have questions or concerns, please email me at greenhoa@ciramail.com or leave a voicemail at 571-363-4045. Stay informed!
