VERDE APARTMENTS – NOTICE OF ILLEGAL TRASH DUMPING

We would like to bring to your attention an ongoing issue affecting the Verde Apartments community. Greenbelt Station residents have improperly used the Verde Apartments’ private dumpsters to dispose of household garbage and bulk items.

This has become a recurring problem, placing an undue burden on their property.

Please be advised: Illegal dumping violates county laws and can result in fines or legal action. The dumpsters are private property and are not authorized for use by non-residents of Verde Apartments.

If you are unsure of where to legally and properly dispose of your trash or bulk waste, here are authorized disposal options:

• Accepts trash and bulk items from county residents and businesses (proof of residency required)
• Open Monday–Saturday, 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Closed Sundays)

Buddy Attick Park Recycling Center
555 Crescent Road, Greenbelt, MD

• Accepts co-mingled recycling, automotive oil and filters, antifreeze, cardboard, and mixed paper
