TheBus Spring Service Changes
PROPOSED THEBUS SCHEDULE CHANGES
Prince George’s County is proposing to change where routes go and adjust schedules on select TheBus routes. You can take a closer look at the proposed changes respond to a survey to provide feedback on DPW&T’s TheBus Spring Service Changes site.
The project team will host a a virtual town hall meeting where you can ask questions and discuss the new transit changes on Tuesday, March 19, 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm. Riders can also connect with the project team at pop-up events around the County to learn about proposed changes and share feedback in person, including at Greenbelt Metro Station, Bus Bays E & D, on Wednesday, March 20, 3:30 pm – 5:30 pm.
Some of the proposed changes that would impact TheBus riders in Greenbelt include:
- Route 11 would run less frequently, arriving every 45 minutes.
- Route 15X would have some routing and stop changes outside of Greenbelt proper.
- New 61 Route connecting Laurel and Greenbelt would operate on weekdays every 60 minutes during peak periods, from 6:00 am to 9:00 am and from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
